COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A woman accused of stealing almost $1 million dollars in jewelry from a Colorado Springs store last week has a history of theft dating back to the late 1980’s.
Patricia Eck allegedly snatched a bag with about 200 pieces of jewelry from a Jared’s location near Woodmen and Academy last Thursday. An employee recognized Eck as a regular customer, and police later recovered the goods at her home.
She’s accused of one count of theft. She posted bond on Sunday.
