COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A man is dead after being stabbed over the weekend in Colorado Springs.
It happened Saturday morning at a home on East St Vrain Street, near Platte and Boulder.
Police were called to a disturbance, and later, a male victim turned up at a hospital with a knife wound. He did not survive. The release of his name is still pending.
An unidentified suspect barricaded himself in the home, but later surrendered peacefully. Police say there is no concern for the safety of the community.
An investigation continues.
