Several displaced after three-alarm apartment fire in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Up to 30 people are displaced after a three-alarm fire at a Colorado Springs apartment complex early Sunday.

A blaze broke out at the Canyon Ranch Apartments on Parkmoor Village Drive, near Carefree and Academy.

24 units were impacted, four were destroyed, and 44 people were affected by the fire. Two people suffered minor injuries.

The Red Cross opened a shelter at the Awakening Church on Oro Blanco for the up to 30 residents who are now without a home.

The investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
