Police search for man who barricaded himself inside a Colorado Springs home

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – According to Colorado Springs Police, a suspect, identified as Jeffrey Aschenbrenner, barricaded himself inside a residence in the 100 block of Grayson Ct. Aschenbrenner was able to make it out of the house, and is at large.

Officers originally responded to the home for a domestic disturbance around 6:30 Thursday night, police said.

According to police, the Tactical Enforcement Unit responded to the scene after Aschenbrenner refused to leave.

Aschenbrenner was found to have two outstanding felony warrants for his arrest, said police.
