Man injured in hatchet attack in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A man gets injured in a hatchet attack in Colorado Springs.

46-year-old Daniel Goff was allegedly chasing another male at Dorchester Park, near South Nevada and I-25 Thursday afternoon.

Goff was swinging a small axe, but the victim was able to punch Goff in the face. Goff tumbled off a rock and onto the hatchet, causing some injuries to his arm.

Police say the victim was acting in self-defense when he punched Goff. Goff was arrested for felony menacing.
