COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – An El Paso County judge is expected to rule today on the mental competency of the accused Planned Parenthood gunman.

Robert Dear admitted to killing three people and wounding nine in an attack on the Colorado Springs clinic in November.

One of the psychiatrists who evaluated Dear testified Tuesday that Dear has a delusional disorder. If Dear is deemed incompetent, he will be sent to the state mental health institute in Pueblo for treatment until he is legally capable to stand trial.
