COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A man, accused of killing a retired Colorado Springs firefighter, will stand trial in January.
A judge ruled Tuesday that there’s enough evidence to try 43-year-old Gustavo Gonzales on a first degree murder charge.
He allegedly shot 58-year-old Daryl Ritz on Judge Orr road in May. The crime was reportedly captured on a dash-cam in the victim’s vehicle.
Ritz had served as a firefighter for 33 years.
Gonzalez has plead not guilty.
