An unfounded threat puts two Pueblo school districts on lockdown, but some parents weren’t notified until hours later

PUEBLO, CO – An unfounded threat puts two Pueblo school districts on lockdown, but some parents weren’t notified until hours later.

They dropped their kids off at school Wednesday morning with no indications that anything was wrong.

Some found about the possible threat through social media before they heard anything from the school districts.

Pueblo police got a tip on Tuesday night about the threat of a shooting at a Pueblo school on Wednesday.

The threat was traced to a phone number in Colorado Springs, but it was later determined not to be credible.
