Colorado Springs Police are holding a prescription drug take-back day next week

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Colorado Springs Police are holding a prescription drug take-back day next week.

Police will accept any type of prescription drug, whether it’s expired or is just no longer being taken.

Officers will not be accepting things like illegal drugs, needles, oxygen containers or pressurized canisters.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on October 28th.

The drugs can be dropped off at the Police Operations Center, El Paso County Household Hazardous Waste Facility, Security Fire Station One or University of Colorado Memorial Hospital North.
