After a wild couple of weeks, it now appears representative Doug Lamborn will get to run for re-election.
On Tuesday, a federal judge ordered the Secretary of State to certify Lamborn for June’s primary ballot.
The six-term republican was initially ruled out of the running because one of the petitioners he employed to gather signatures was not a Colorado-citizen.
A judge rejected the residency requirement for petition circulators.
The decision will now be appealed to the 10th circuit court by attorneys who initially brought the case to light.
