31 year old Karrar Al Khammasi, the man accused of gravely injuring Colorado Springs Police Officer Cem Duzel is scheduled for an advisement hearing today.
Al Khammasi’s court hearing was postponed multiple times while he received medical treatment. He’s since been released and booked into the criminal justice center, he’s facing a list of charges including attempted first degree murder of a police officer and felony menacing.
Officer Duzel remains in critical but stable condition.
