A petition to bring conspiracy to commit murder charges against Krystal Kenny, the girlfriend of Patrick Frazee, is gaining momentum.
On Wednesday a group of concerned citizens submitted the petition to both the federal attorney’s office in Denver and the office on violence against women.
So far 2,000 signatures have been collected.
Kenny faces one count of tampering with physical evidence after destroying Berreth’s cell phone, however, based on evidence released in the February 19th preliminary hearing, Kenny told investigators Frazee tried to coax her into killing Berreth on four separate occasions until prosecutors believe Frazee committed the murder himself.
Frazee is expected to enter a plea on May 24th.
