Colorado Springs Police are investigating after several grave markers were recently defaced at Fairview Cemetery.
Many were marred by red paint and graffiti. It’s thought to have happened within the past 2 weeks.
The cemetery offered to clean the markers with sandblasters, but that could cause damage to the stones.
The cemetery is now looking into other restoration options.
