A deadly crash shuts down I-25 for about 4 hours Monday night.
Around 7:30pm, a group of 4 transients tried to cross the interstate near Fontanero, and one of them was hit and killed by a van.
The victim was an adult male, and has not been identified.
Two drivers in separate cars were distracted by the wreck and had a minor collision.
No charges have been filed.
Police remind pedestrians it is illegal to walk on the interstate.
