Drought conditions continue to grow in Colorado.
The latest U.S. Drought Monitor Map released yesterday shows severe drought conditions are now in effect in parts of southwestern Colorado.
Last week, that section of the state was suffering from moderate drought conditions.
Those conditions grew along Colorado’s western slope from week to week, while abnormally dry conditions increased in southeastern Colorado.
