Colorado Springs Police are reporting at least eight people were transported to local hospitals after a suspect went on a stabbing spree early Monday morning.
The violence began in the area of 8th and Cimarron around 1:30 a.m., with additional stabbings reported in the area of America the Beautiful Park and outside of Tony’s Bar at Tejon and Boulder.
Victims told police the suspect seemed delirious.
He was arrested minutes after the stabbings outside of the downtown bar.
The weapon he used was also recovered.
We don’t know the extent of the victim’s injuries, at least one victim is a female.
