Organizers of a funeral service for a well-known Colorado Springs veteran are expecting a big crowd to be present.
The funeral for 97-year-old Donald Stratton will be held at Rocky Mount Calvary Chapel Saturday February 29th at 10 a.m.
Because of the expected number of guests, those attending are being asked to park at Doherty High School and ride shuttles to the chapel.
There will be a funeral procession after the service as Statton’s body is taken from Colorado Springs to be buried in Red Cloud, Nebraska.
