El Paso County commissioners granted two variances Thursday as the county looks to re-open under Covid-19 restrictions. Commissioners okayed a variance to open places of worship, and for the re-opening of the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. If churches would re-open the variance specifies they can only have up to 25% capacity. Now the requests go to the Governors office for final approval.
