Fire fighters continue to monitor hot spots this morning south of Highlands Ranch in suburban Denver following a 487 acre blaze Monday. The Chatridge 2 fire started with a spark from a malfunctioning utility pole. First responders had their hands full for a time as the winds picked up, pushing the blaze towards a sub division. The fire was contained last night with no buildings damaged and no injuries.
