People tested for Covid-19 at the Citadel Mall may need a new test

COLORADO SPRINGS – If you were one of the more than 300-people who went to the new Citadel Mall Covid-19 testing site on Tuesday, You may have to be re-tested. There’s some concern about the temperatures of the samples and if that may have interfered with the accuracy of the tests.

The company running the testing site is Mako Medical, and they plan on looking into whether those samples were affected by the temperature issues. who runs the testing site, is currently testing the samples to determine if temperature impacted the quality of the samples. Health officials did a site inspection at the Citadel Mall Wednesday, but just in case, health officials are inviting everyone who was tested on Tuesday to return to the location for a new test.
