COLORADO SPRINGS – If you visit other cities in Colorado you may notice that medical marijuana can be delivered to patients, but that’s not going to be an option in Colorado Springs any time soon after a recent City Council meeting.
Members on the council voted against the delivery option, even though it would benefit people dealing with pain and mobility issues. They cited concerns about public health and Covid-19, and various regulations issues. They announced that they won’t even bother exploring the possibility of medical marijuana delivery moving forward because of the lack of support among a majority of the members.
