2 people died in plane crash Thursday near the Telluride Regional Airport in southwestern Colorado. Authorities say it appears the plane was on approach when it disappeared from radar screens. Witnesses report seeing the plane go down at around 130pm. the wreckage of the craft was located about 60 minutes later. The FAA says the plane was a single engine Vans rv-4. The crash was located about a half mile east of the airport. San Miguel County Search and Rescue and other agencies were working to recover the bodies. The National Transportation Safety Board and the FAA will investigate.
