COLORADO SPRINGS – Starting Friday, you may notice some loud booms and more dust around the Fort Carson Army Base. The 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, is conducting large-caliber live-fire training and it’s expected to take place through Thursday, January 28th.
The training exercises are taking place around the clock. The training is intended to validate field artillery, engineer, and tank crews. It’s a regular part of the brigade’s training cycle. Noise complaints should be directed to the Fort Carson public affairs office.
