Record low for Colorado Springs

Dangerously cold weather in Colorado Springs and along the front range Sunday night and Monday morning. Colorado Springs smashed its record low of minus 8 set back in 1895. The springs had an overnight low of minus 16, measured at the Colorado Springs Airport. Crook Colorado, in the northeast part of the state had a low of minus 33. Mondays high will be near 20. Tuesday we expect a high in the upper 30’s, but there is a chance of snow showers Tuesday evening, and we could see 1-3 inches of snow Wednesday night into Thursday morning in the Pikes Peak region.
