Law enforcement agencies across Colorado crackdown on illegal street racing

 

 

COLORADO — Dozens of law enforcement agencies are teaming up to combat illegal street racing across the state. Since the start of the operation on April 18th, authorities have handed out nearly 300 citations. People who take part in illegal street racing face a whole host of charges, including reckless driving and reckless endangerment. The crime could lead to a loss of driving privileges, fines, and even jail time. Among the agencies participating are the Fountain and Colorado Springs Police Departments, as well as the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office
