WOODLAND PARK — Authorities have identified a man whose body was found Sunday at Rampart Reservoir northwest of Colorado Springs. Senior Airman Ricky Teagle was stationed at Schriever Space Force Base. Teagle was paddleboarding when he went under the water and never resurfaced. His body was discovered on Wednesday. Officials at Peterson Air Force Base say Teagle was selected as the Peterson-Schriever Garrison Honor Guardsman and Ceremonial Guardsman of the year in 2020 and that he had incredible professionalism, fortitude, and excellence.
