Court documents reveal difficulties tracking Barry Morphew.

CHAFFEE COUNTY – Prosecutors in the Suzanne Morphew murder case are asking a judge to reset some conditions for the suspect Barry Morphew. He is living west of monarch pass. The Gazette is reporting he is wearing an ankle monitor that uses GPS to keep track of him. Those signals are then transmitted by cell towers, and where Morphew currently is staying, there is spotty coverage. Officials don’t always know where Morphew is. He’s accused of killing his wife Suzanne, who disappeared on Mother’s Day 2020. She is presumed dead. Morphew is also living close to witnesses in the case, which is making the prosecution uncomfortable.
