The eastern gate of Peterson Space Force Base was closed for a short time this morning after a vehicle triggered an alarm. Security officers investigated the incident, and Marksheffel Road is now open. A spokesperson for the base said it’s not unusual for commercial vehicles to set off an alarm. This particular vehicle in question was cleared and allowed to continue on it’s way.
