The money will be delivered in the late summer or early fall, to Colorado residents who paid taxes last year. What exactly the final amount will be isn’t known right now. Originally, the checks were supposed to be $400 for single-filers. The legislature recently announced that it could be more if the state has extra funds. A final decision on the amount will be made by the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budgeting.
