El Paso County has upgraded it’s fire restrictions for unincorporated areas. The county will move to Stage 2 restrictions today at noon. Under a Stage 2 Ban:
-Open burning, campfires, charcoal grills and outdoor wood stoves are all prohibited.
-No fireworks can be set off.
– Smoking is not allowed unless inside a car or building.
– The county says that flames that are contained within liquid-filled or gas-fueled stoves are allowed.
