Fountain Police say a teen is behind bars after a shooting at a gas station. It happened around 2;30 on Sunday morning, near Fountain Mesa and Mesa Road. The suspect has been identified as 19-year-old Nichilause Oakley. Authorities were told about gunfire outside of a Kum & Go gas station. Police found a man with a gunshot wound to the leg. During the investigation, detectives figured out that two vehicles were involved, and one got away. Officers executed a search warrant on a home on Judson Avenue, which caused a shelter-in-place order. Oakley was taken into custody and faces multiple charges, including attempted murder.
