Two Colorado senators are asking military officials to look into a decision to move U.S. Space Command out of Colorado Springs. Both Senators Michael Bennet and John Hickenlooper met with Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall about two reports reviewing the decision. Former President Donald Trump said during his presidency that he was planning to move the command from here to Alabama. There have been questions raised about his motives for doing so and some suggest it was made on political grounds. In a joint statement, the senators said the recently released reports from the Pentagon and the Government Accountability Office “affirmed,” their doubts about the “credibility” of the decision.
