Colorado State Troopers continue to investigate the death of a 3-year-old child, after a driveway accident yesterday morning. This happened at a home near Fontaine and Lamprey drive, in unincorporated El Paso County. Troopers say that the person driving the car was the girl’s mother. She has only been identified as a 27-year-old woman. The car was in the driveway of a home when it struck the girl, who was seriously hurt. She was rushed to the hospital, where she later died. CSP says that drugs or alcohol are not suspected factors in the crash.
