One person was sent to the hospital, after a car crashed into a dental office yesterday afternoon. This happened at the Academy Dental and Vison Office, near Austin Bluffs and Academy. Springs Police say that an elderly driver mistook the gas pedal of her car for the brake. When she tried to stop, she hit the accelerator and went straight into the building. The car traveled all the way into the lobby, hitting a desk and hurting two people. Officers say that the injuries are not serious. The driver of the car was unhurt, and it’s not clear if she will be cited for the accident. There’s been no estimate on how extensive the damage is to the dental office.
