Today, the Colorado Springs Pioneer’s Museum is hosting its “Gift of History” annual fundraiser. Money raised helps support the museum’s exhibits, educational programming, and preservation of the archives. The event takes place August 6th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m,. and includes indoor puppet shows, a chance to explore exhibits and live music. There will be food trucks on the grounds, or attendees can pack a picnic lunch. The fundraiser will go on until the end of the month, with a goal of raising $100,000.
