A funeral for fallen El Paso County Deputy Andrew Peery will be held on Monday, August 15th. The EPSO says it will begin at 11 a.m. at the New Life Church in the 11000 block of Voyager Parkway.it is open to the public. Peery was killed in the line of duty on Sunday night in Security. He and other officers responded to reports of a shooting at a home. A woman was found dead on scene, and she’s been identified as Alexandra Paz. Peery was hit and killed. The suspected shooter, John Paz, was later found dead. The Sheriff’s Office says there will be full honors at the funeral, and following the service, a vehicle procession will depart from the church. Deputies say that the public is invited to line the route to honor Deputy Peery.
