A heads up for any drivers near Memorial Park this morning, a sinkhole is causing some traffic troubles at the intersection of Prairie and Boulder Street. Springs Police say that the hole opened up last evening, and they’re advising people to take alternate routes. City officials say that a water main break caused the hole, and it will be closed this morning for repairs. Colorado Springs Utilities says that the break is only affecting a small number of water customers, and the public should avoid the area.
