Air Force Football is on a two-year probation

COLORADO SPRINGS – The NCAA announced Thursday it has placed the Air Force Football team on two years probation for recruiting violations. During the COVID pandemic, all NCAA Teams in All sports were forbidden to bring recruits on campus. Four former assistant Air Force football coaches violated that ban. Those four were quickly let go earlier this year by Troy Calhoun. Included in the penalties were a reduction of 46 visits to the school by recruits, an undisclosed fine, and a reduction of the football squad by ten players. The Air Force does still remain eligible for post-season competition. No official comment yet from the school.
