COLORADO SPRINGS-A Colorado man is found guilty of sexual assault in connection to a kidnapping and burglary six years ago. The Weld County District Attorney’s Office says 30-year-old Damaige Plascencia is facing 88 to 112 years to life in prison. On December 30th, 2016, police received a call from a woman who said she was raped in her home. She told investigators she was in the shower when the lights went out, and when she got out, Plascencia raped her. Authorities used DNA to charge Plascencia with the crime. His sentencing hearing is set for march 22nd.
