2022, The Deadliest year on Colorado Springs Roads

COLORADO SPRINGS–Colorado Springs has officially surpassed its record for deadly crashes. The county coroner has confirmed a man killed on November 14th died from injuries he suffered in the crash, and that makes 2022 the deadliest year on Colorado Springs roads. Fifty-eight-year-old Rondell Winn was crossing Academy at Chelton when he was struck by an oncoming vehicle. Authorities say Winn was not in a crosswalk when the crash occurred. Speed and alcohol are not suspected, and no citations have been issued. The investigation continues.
