Prosecutors in the Club Q Shooting case are trying to level more charges at the suspect. The alleged shooter, Anderson Aldrich, is already facing more than 300 charges — including murder and bias-motivated crimes. In a motion filed yesterday, the Fourth Judicial District Attorney’s Office proposed 12 more charges against Aldrich – for two victims. Those two survived the shooting, and D.A. Michael Allen wants to amend the list of charges to include actions against these victims. The attack happened back in November, at Club Q, an LGBTQ+ nightspot. Five people were killed in the gunfire, over a dozen injured. Aldrich is expected to make two court appearances this week.
