During Mondays Colorado Springs City Council meeting the subject of what’s called “urban camping” was discussed. Essentially its people living out of their cars on city streets. There was several hours of debate on the issue, and according to springs city councilman Dave Donelson there’s not much police can do about it at the moment. Offenders have 72 hours to move their car and they only have to move it 100 feet. Some on council want to see tougher penalties in place. Council voted to put the measure aside for a few months to further study the issue.
