Manitou Springs announced late Sunday afternoon one of two water main breaks has been repaired, and the city is no longer on emergency water restrictions. Officials Sunday reported water line breaks in an area near Manitou Avenue and El Monte Place. One of the two breaks has been repaired. They continue to work on a second break. No word on when it will be repaired. Once the repairs are completed officials are telling Manitou residents to let water run a little bit to get rid of any sediments that may have gotten into the system. It’s not known how the breaks happened.
