DEA, IRS and FBI agents along with local authorities raided 2 businesses in Colorado Springs Wednesday. Agents went to 2 El Ranchito locations, a restaurant and grocery store, one on Airport road, the other on Maizeland. Several people were taken from one of the stores in handcuffs. Agents removed computers, cash, and other evidence from both locations. The two raids were focused on drug trafficking and money laundering. Federal agencies would not confirm if anyone was arrested. They did say this had nothing to do with ice or illegal immigrants. No other information was released.
