The Denver Broncos have announced their plans for a new stadium. After months of speculation, the Broncos have chosen to build a new stadium just a mile south of Empower Field, at Burnham Yard. The team looked at sites in Lone Tree and Aurora, but in the end made the decision to stay in Denver. The owners of the Broncos have reportedly been buying land in that area for a number of months now. The new stadium will have a retractable roof and is being privately funded. No word yet when construction will begin.
