The family of a Colorado Springs girl who fell to her death on an amusement park ride in Glenwood Springs 4 years ago will receive Two Hundred Five million dollars in a wrongful death suit. Six year old Wongel Estifanos was sitting on a safety belt on the ride the “Haunted Mine Drop” when the ride started. The child fell to her death. The accident happened at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. An investigation showed an alarm system had been reset and failed to warn staff the child was not buckled in.
