USA Gymnastics has announced they are moving their national headquarters from Indianapolis Indiana to Noblesville Indiana, just 20 minutes away. Colorado Springs and several other cities put in bids for USA Gymnastics to relocate to the Pikes Peak region. Officials say Noblesville was chosen because of its proximity to Indianapolis, local support, and an incentives package of some 40 million dollars to stay in Indiana. Colorado Springs reportedly offered an incentive package worth 3 million dollars.
