Tuesday afternoon a fifteen year old carjacked a vehicle in Silver Cliff. The suspect drove to Colorado Springs, and started a crime spree that included pointing a gun at numerous people including a CDOT worker, and attempting to carjack 3 different vehicles in the springs between 230 and 405 Tuesday afternoon. The suspect then threatened a woman with 3 children, carjacked her vehicle, and fired a shot at the mother before driving away. She was not hurt. The 15 year old finally crashed the car in the Eleven hundred block of Academy Park Loop and was taken into custody. The suspect is facing dozens of charges including attempted first degree murder, 10 counts of felony menacing, 2 counts of motor vehicle theft, and 2 counts of aggravated robbery.
