This past Tuesday in Fountain a major police response to a home where a mother was worried for her daughter’s safety. The woman told police she got a call and a picture from her daughter who said a homeless man had walked into her home. Fountain police rushed every officer on patrol and every detective on the streets to the scene, only to learn it was a prank. It’s called the AI Homeless Man prank. Someone gets an AI picture of a homeless man in their home and pretends they are in danger. It’s a prank that has been seen across the country on social media platforms.
