The El Paso County Sheriff’s office arrested a woman yesterday and charged her with first degree murder. Deputies received a report early Monday morning of a missing person somewhere near Black Forest. Deputies would wind up in northeastern El Paso County at the intersection of Eastonville and Hodgen road where they say an accident happened. They searched the area and found the victim’s body. Deputies have not said what led them to the suspect, identified as 27 year old Khalya Dawson. It’s unknown if the victim and suspect knew each other.
